EON not paid a bill in 9 months

Hello,
For the past 9 months I have not paid a single bill to EON because they have not produced one for me. I have rang them several times asking for a bill but they have said several times that they have been arguing with NPower (my previous supplier) over some details. These details got sorted out 3 months ago and a bill was sent to me but they wanted me to pay the whole bill in one go or spread it over 3 months. I argued and said that I was not willing to pay a bill that was for 6 months over a 3 month period as it was not my fault that I wasn't paying, I wanted to pay but they wouldn't accept anything. Finally it was agreed that I could pay what we owed over the next 18 months to make life easier for us.
On the day we were supposed to arrange this set up I got a phone call and email stating that this deal was now off the tables as back in December I made a complaint. The complaint stating that I was not happy with the time it was taking for EON and Npower to sort out the issues and that I was not paying a bill. Apparently I was being over charged during this period and someone was calculating the amount that I actually owed. Because of this I would not have to pay anything and instead wait for EON to get back to me with a new bill. I still have not received a bill and have still not paid anything for electricity for the past 9 months.
I am starting to get worried as obviously the bill is mounting up and it is a business bill not a household bill so is obviously in its thousands not hundreds. What can I do to get the ball rolling here?

Why didn't you put the money that you wanted to pay EON somewhere safe until the bill arrived?loplisover wrote: »Hello,

Then you could have paid the whole bill on the day you got it.
Start a formal written complaint, that should get things moving for you.loplisover wrote: »I am starting to get worried as obviously the bill is mounting up and it is a business bill not a household bill so is obviously in its thousands not hundreds. What can I do to get the ball rolling here?0 -

As a business customer on a fixed term contract and you will know what the charges are (per unit and daily), you or your accountant should be assuring you have the money in the bank ready to pay them when the bill does arrive. Unlike a domestic customer who doesn't pay they will quite happily cut your supply in the road leaving you with (a) a business with no energy and (b) another large bill to get yourself reconnected. Based on this and the Sky post it sound like your are not managing things properly as a business owner so I would predict a for sale sign soon.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

Good morning loplisover and welcome to the forum,
I can't give much specific advice here as this would need to be looked after by our specialist business team.
I also don't have all of the information and facts to be able to say exactly what has gone wrong and why.
I do however agree with lstar337 in that you need to raise this as a formal complaint, it will then be investigated by a complaints manager and they will establish the reasons for not having a bill, any poor service and making sure the account is correct and billing going forward.
They'll offer a resolution and it can be taken from there.
I do hope things getting sorted out for you and you can get straight again.
