Santander 123 - paying in £500 question

Hi,
I was just wondering if anybody could help me with a query about Santanders 123 account?
I don't have a salary to pay into it each month so i was just wondering if anyone knew if the £500 has to be a lump sum each month or is simply that £500 in total needs to be paid into the account each month regardless of how many transactions this takes.
Also, do it count if i transfer the £500 from a santander easy saver account?
Thanks
Fiona

It can take as many transactions as you like as long as a total of £500 gets paid in.Also, do it count if i transfer the £500 from a santander easy saver account?

Yes - providing its not yours. External doesn't mean non Santander it just means not your Santander accounts(s).0 -
Brilliant. Thanks for info.

OP,
Note that you have to pay in £500 per month to qualify for the 3% interest. However once paid in, the £500 can be moved back to where it came from. Rinse & repeat every month. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
asked on another thread does money from betting accounts count towards the 500?0
