Hi,
Am going to Spain with my wife in a couple of weeks. She will be 27 1/2 weeks pregnant when we leave. I've tried the price-comparison websites and they all have a pregnancy page, but when you click through it just takes you to their normal quotes.
I was hoping I'd be able to get something that would cover us, for example, if we both had to stay in Spain for a couple of weeks if anything happened. Is this something I can get and if so where?
The comparison sites don't even ask for a due date or anything, I really thought they would have something a bit more tailored.

Normal travel insurance covers for issues with pregnancy just not a routine birth.
Your only two issues would be if your wife goes into labour just before the flight and it isnt considered early enough to be "premature" or if there is a complication but it only impacts the baby then there is a chance they'd only fund one adult to stay on rather than two
Check the policies on what they deem premature birth0 -

Thanks, so if there was an issue that affected both my wife and the baby I would be covered to stay out there?0 -

You need to read the terms of the policy but most cover the cost of an additional adult staying on top of the sick/ injured person(s) assuming they were part of the travelling group (ie doesnt cover flying someone out from the UK to be there)
Obv with pregnancy the key exception is a routine birth that isnt deemed premature but is too close to the leaving date to be able to fly. Given you are only going to Spain then potentially there are other non-flying options for repatriation if needs be.0
