Really depends on what you want to use it for. Cool idea having both a tablet and a laptop, but you are getting a processor that lacks power for the fact that you are getting 2 devices. i would spend the same amount of money but on a laptop with an intel i7 processor and 8Gb Ram.

But it all depends on what is important to you

    ^^ Good advice there ..
If it were me, I would buy a higher spec laptop, for less money, and buy a cheapish android tablet if you need one :)

Core M isn't a bad processor - New MacBook 12 has it. I know you can even do photo/video editing, if you don't do anything too heavy.
It depends on her use; if she's gonna use it for watching videos, Office, browsing etc, then she'll be fine.
If she wants to play recent games at max resolution or edit a movie then this laptop is a big no.

I wouldn't spend money to get an i7 to do stuff even a Celeron could handle.
