Thanks for the advice. My computer seems to be running ok, so I guess I'm alright. I really don't feel confident enough to do the full clean up, knowing my luck I'll end up having to take it to the professionals if I start moving stuff onto disk, etc, and I daren't risk a big bill at the mo as we're skint, lol!
I spoke to First Direct about it this morn, before I logged on here, and their advice was if I've run anti virus software and nothing's coming up, then there's nothing to worry about. They didn't ask me which software I have, etc..I asked what would happen if there was a trojan and money was taken out, the guy said I would think you'd be covered. When I asked him to check it foir sure, I was told that it had never happened, but I would be ok as long as I'd not given out my security details. But is it the equivalent of giving out your security details if you have a virus on your pc, as someone is effectively looking over your shoulder?
Anyway. I'll take his word for it....thanks again everyone,. I really do appreciate your help!

Go for one of these:
Steganos/Kaspersky - two almost identical progs - steganos is the cheaper
NOD32
Good luck and let us know how you get on
all the best

 Have also just found out that my McAfee subscription ran out 10.06!!! So will be taking your advice asap and looking at the Steganos one you mentioned. Thanks ! Would just the full 2007 internet security suite cover everything I need would you say? I don't really want to slow up my pc by having too much no here but at the same time I want to make sure I'm covered..0
