Good MSE day today :money:
We discovered we needed a ladder to paint stairs last night as tall OH wasn't tall enough. But got it from Argos and I had £77 of nectar points  so used £35 worth of those so effectively spent nothing and didn't have a plan for the nectar points.
Had a store cupboard lunch
Spotted on facebook that an old uni friend was coming back up here yesterday so text and we were able to meet up for a drink could have been expensive but:
Drove to where I worked and walked in to city centre and back (saved c.£5 on parking or £2.80 each on return bus trips from where we work)
Friend bought us a round of drinks, then his girlfriend did and then they had to go as they were going out for dinner so didn't spend anything
Only went in one shop whilst we were in town and bought something we needed.
Then we really wanted a takeaway but resisted and made the dinner we planned
So could easily have spent £70 in money today but didn't spend anything on this stuff (just £7 on the thing we needed)
Also just transferred spending diaries onto spreadsheet and working on grocery spend so far atm.
