Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome old timers and newbies alike :hello:
Welcome to the weekend!
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
So, today I will:

So, today I will:
- begin our "holiday at home" week by cooking breakfast made with free eggs
- make a pack up and go to the lake this afternoon
- do a storecupboard meal when we get home
- do a list of activities that we can do for v little money and make a lucky dip like SEA78 does!
- check online banking and update spreadsheet
- not increase my debt in any way
- be positive!
- enjoy the sunshine for free while it lasts!

Hi - happy Saturday everybody
Yesterday managed an NSD, but not so good today. Had to go to post office to send an ebay parcel and couldn't make it past the deli on the way back, so spent £4.80 on fresh anchovies and stuffed peppers to go with dinner tonight.
Last week I bought a rotary airer for the garden, so today all the washing can dry outside instead of using the tumble dryer. Good for me and the environment!
Also put my first £2 coin in my piggy bank (from tiny acorns and all that).
Best wishes
