Kitchen cupboard paint feels tacky

I bought a small tin of kitchen cupboard paint from B&Q which cost £18, that I needed to touch up a few dark marks where some of the paint had been knocked and damaged, and to cover one of the joins on the door beneath the sink where water had slightly damaged it and the join looked dark.
The result looks good and the colour is exact BUT each time I touch the parts I painted it feels slightly sticky.
Is this common or have I done something wrong?

If the colour is exact and it looks fine, stop touching it and forget about it.....make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Strange as it may seem I have to open the cupboard as it contains things I need. Although I pull it by the handle I still manage to touch the door.
Problem is solved now, anyway, as the previous poster said it should harden...and it has done. No more stickiness:)0
