No UUs today but my mascara is on it's way out and I don't have one in my stash to replace it with :j
Have spent a fair while (hours) lovingly "researching" alternatives on the internet but thought I would ask you lovely ladies if you have any recommendations?

Do you have any price range in mind?

Have spent a fair while (hours) lovingly "researching" alternatives on the internet but thought I would ask you lovely ladies if you have any recommendations? I seem to have gone from uncontrollable shopping to a complete inability to commit to buying anything! I always wear waterproof mascara as otherwise it just seems to end up under my eyes which is not a great look so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

    This one...http://www.boots.com/en/Natural-Collection-Water-Guard-Mascara_24322/

I once picked this up at an airport Boots after realising I'd forgotten mascara. I only wanted it for my holiday so didn't want to spend a lot. This really suprised me in its quality and staying power. Also I happily found my eyes don't react to it (have had trouble with many other name brands). It is now my go to mascara. I try others now and again but always come back to this, and it has both brown and black - I wear brown for day and black at night.
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

    UUs:
Burts Bees milk and honey body cream - WBA!
Calcot apricot body scrub - WNBA - only because I want to change the way I exfoliate my body
Nizoral shampoo - I have this on prescription

    INs:
St Tropez in-shower gradual tanner - really looking forward to trying this!
A back up of Botanics rosewater toner spray (was running low)

Resisted buying anything else that I didn't need from Boots!! Progress!
  • Njust to mention the soap and glory foot buffer is amazing but about £9. Anyway I've worn the metal off mine and found an identical one in b&m bargains for £1.49
  • Seventeen and Barry M both do great waterproof mascaras

Also on my list to buy - heard good things. Let me know how you get on with :)

  • Thanks Shandyclover, what a bargain! I will definitely give it a try!
  • I've got another UU!

    6. Organix Coconut Milk Conditioner 88ml. I won't buy again as I don't really like the smell and it seemed to linger a long time, it did leave my hair feeling nice and soft though! Will replace it with a half used tub of Lush Roots which I will have to alternate with my already in use Macadamia deep treatment mask (love love love this stuff) as I have quite long hair and and Roots just isn't enough on it's own for me!

I use the Macadamia mask too, it is amazing.

    I have a few uu's

TGel Shampoo for Sensitive Scalp - this was DD's, it lasted ages and didn't cause any problems, WBA.

Vita Liberata Self Tan 25ml - WNBA

Body Shop Sweet Pea Body Butter - this is one of the duos and one side of the tub will just not rub in so for that reason I WNBA.

    Another UU and GA:-

UU: Soap and Glory Hand Dream. Am converted. This stuff is lovely. and much more moisturising than Hand Food. Didn't go off either.

GA: mini bottle of Sephora by OPI Dear Diary. Used this last night and it was applying streakily though I think it always has. Emma saw the colour and liked it so have donated the rest of the bottle to her.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
