Order of work

Just had a wall knocked down to create a kitchen/diner. Had the whole ceiling plastered too.
Have a sparkie coming next week to do a partial rewire (downlighters in kitchen, sockets in front room and kitchen ring main).
However I still have the following jobs to consider
Install floor tiles and underfloor heating, throughout downstairs, I'm also considering replacing door frames and architraves, and the walls will prob need replastering in kitchen/diner but shall I do this after kitchen is installed.

Plaster before the kitchen goes in.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.

Doors frames go in before plastering, architraves after.

As above, you really don't want plasterers in your new kitchen!

Discovered late last night that the door frames are metal!!!
So it would seem after researching online that these then also act as a lintel! So I'm thinking that these will be staying in!!
As for plastering is it worth plastering what's going to be hidden behind cupboard etc

Yes, because it is so much easier to plaster a straight long run than have to dodge around cupboards etc. Also if any electrics to be added in kitchen that should be done before plastering.

One thing missing from your list is visit from building control to sign off the wall that has been knocked down.

Presumably you will be getting this?
