Help with entry on Credit File

I have been looking at my credit file on Equifax. I'm a bit confused about an entry made by Eon. I have paid this off but its still showing as me owing £1637. Its saying I didn't make a payment this month... even though I don't actually owe them anything. It even says the terms are 0@ £0 monthly....
Am I able to get Eon to update this?
Thank you

When did you pay it off?
Was the balance prior to it being paid off the £1637?
When does the Equifax entry say the last update was?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
The last update was in July 2012. The balance (before I paid it off) was £1637.0

Ah - ok, then, definitely wrong!
I'd definitely get in touch with Eon and point out the error and that they are reporting out of date information. A 'phone call should be enough to get it corrected, but if that doesn't work then I'd write a complaint to them.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
