Credit Reports a joke

I just had a look at my credit report, I do so every so often to check against fraud.
I noticed my score had gone down. The reason- opened new bank account (without OD as don't need it) and changed mobile phone providers. No extra credit made available to me, no extra spending but it has gone down by quite a lot.
Makes you wonder how their system works. Good job am not about to use it to apply for more credit any where.

Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

You don't have a 'score'.
Multiple searches and new accounts 'might' have a temporary adverse effect with some lenders, but that's about it.0 -
The number means nothing ignore it0

The credit score that Experian gives you is just a guide - it is not the random number some people here will tell you but it is only seen by you - no other lenders have access to it. A lot of things affect what different lenders regard your 'score' as being being, but each is unique to that lender. You really do not need to be concerned. You just need to understand that if you are applying for another credit product shortly, the recent search sonf lie may have an impact.0
