£15 for a full house gutter clean
Thought I ought to warn anyone considering this deal.
Bought 2 deals from KGB deals last year - arranged date and time - no show - after correspondence, received "credit" into an account for me to use for any other deals they may have.
This year - saw same deal (different company name) so bought 2 deals yet again - as I still had the "credit". Bought - arranged date and time - no show - after correspondence, received "credit" into an account for me to use - yet again.
Imagine my shock when browsing the deals today to find - same deal - same company name and same mobile number still being advertised.

Credit? That's not good enough. You should insist on a refund or do a Chargeback if they won't play ball.0 -

Thanks, have sent an e-mail requesting my cash back as I don't think them reliable enough to purchase anything from them.Looking forward to the day I have nothing left to list on eBay0 -

Would this still work as technically they say I paid with "credit" and not "cash" this time round.
I paid with cash - first time round sometime last year. ?? and certainly paid with cash second time round as well. In my eyes they just kept my cash from the first purchase.
They replied as follows;
"Unfortunately, these vouchers were purchased with store credit. We cannot refund store credit back to your credit card.
Thanks for your understanding"
It was not purchased with my credit card but my debit card.Looking forward to the day I have nothing left to list on eBay0 -
I had a similar experience yesterday.
I bought the gutter clean a while ago and at the beginning of the voucher period emailed for a suitable date for them to come and do the gutter clean, got no reply so yesterday I tried calling as the voucher runs out on 3 September and the number was unobtainable. I emailed NCrowd help desk and explained and got a reply to say that they were no longer dealing with this company and I would get a credit. They then went on to quote their T's and C's which state you can only get a credit.
I don't believe this would have been flagged up had I not chased them so how many other people will lose their money is anybody's guess.
I bought a similar (same?) offer last year before we moved house and had the same problem but am not sure if it was with Groupon because on that occasion I did get a refund.0 -
What are they called informally?0
