We bought a Wickes kitchen about 6-7 years ago (times flies so fast I can't remember exactly how long ago it was!) ;)and it's really lovely with solid oak doors and I'm very happy with it. I think we paid around £3k but my husband and sister fitted it (my husband is extremely good at DIY and did everything including laying a slate floor and slate tiling) so it didn't cost anything for the fitting.
A cunning plan, Baldrick? Whatever it was, it's got to be better than pretending to be mad; after all, who'd notice another mad person around here?.......Edmund Blackadder.

Wickes prices are extremely high. Under the same deal as you, 60% off, they quoted me over £18,000 (including fitting). Homebase quoted £12,000. Homebase tell me they will always price-match any other kitchen you get (and they will hold any sale prices until you are ready to buy).

Interesting that Wickes released the pictures to you. They refused to give me any drawings or pictures of my design!!!

I have heard Howedens are good, and I'm currently waiting for them to finish my design.

Zanussi are very reliable. I've had their ovens, washing machines, gas on glass hob before. All very good.

I'm thinking of Neff for the kitchen I'm planning next. How long have you had them, and are you happy with their performance and reliability?
