my fridge freezer which isn't 2 years old yet keeps freezing up, its been defrosted twice in th past 6 weeks. i think its the seal
how do i replace or repair a seal that isn't sealing. there seems to be a gap at the top corner

If there's a gap in the corner it might be one of the screws have come lose, doubt that would cause it to freeze up though, defrost, yes.
Have a look at the thermo and turn it down a degre or two.Please do not feed the Trolls!0 -
You normally can't replace the seal we had problems with a freezer and we had to replace the door as the seal is part of the door.
You could try to reshape the seal in that area, use a hairdryer to heat it up and open the compresion bit to make the magnetic bit flat like the rest of it to make the seal?0 -

i have now defrosted it again, checked the scrws they seem ok, and i've also turned it down to 1 see if that makes any diference0 -

i've also re-shaped the seal a little, looking better already so fingers crossed with everyones advice... should be solved!!0 -
It could be down to the humid weather we are having. If people keep opening the freezer door for lollies etc then the humidity will enter, condense and freeze.
Also ensure that EVERYTHING is wrapped or sealed in the freezer as this can cause rapid frosting.0 -
