Barclaycard delivery time

I have been approved for a Barclaycard and posted my id off on Thursday. Does anyone know roughly how long it should be until I get the card please? Im not in a hurry to spend on it, but am probably going to need to go into hospital this week and would rather not have it sitting in the communal hall at home. Thanks

I applied for and was accepted for Barclaycard Platinum on Wednesday, I then recieved an email on Thursday saying welcome to Barclaycard also telling me the card will be with me within the next five days, I then recieved a text on Friday telling me the card is on it's way and would be with me within the next two days.
I take it you had to send proof of ID to them, so the timescale of your card arrival could vary?

Yes I had to send id as I have been 'invisible' as far as a credit history for some years - which is actually why I am getting the card.
