I applied for a Barclays card platinum CC and received it today. At the end of the only application I got notice that I will not get the full BT amount I wanted, £3500 and a decision will be made on my application in 5 working days.

So I received the card with a £8000 limit. But only £2400 BT limit.

Do I:

A: Ask them to increase it
B: Cancel if they dont give me the full £3500
C: Apply elsewhere to get that amount.

Is £3500 a lot when it comes to BTs?

EDIT - So re-read the letter theres a "cash limit" of £2400.

So does that mean I can transfer £3500?

ret of £6k limit taken by the transfer amount? When that paid off, will have full £6k available- maybe more, if they feel you are good risk!

I've had to edit my post now, because I was suggesting, at 30%, that's what it was!

    Yes.
