Don't fly with Tunisair, or over the south of Tunisia seems to be the message with this threat. Apart from Djerba all the other resorts are much further north.0 -

As much as I love Tunisia, I'm now glad I changed our holiday, we were due to go to Djerba.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

The link in reply #2 hasn't found it's way onto the TA Tunisia Forum. I'd post it, but I don't think it'd stay on the forum for long!0

I decided to post the link on the TA Air Travel Forum.
Five minutes later it had vanished!0 -
Update - in the south if Tunisia the army have taken over and have installed nighttime curfews from 8pm to 5am the one place I recognised was douz - that is on the sahara exercision.
Yesterday we came back from enfida - there was extra security checks the queues were massive you have to have all your luggage, hand luggage, etc through an xray machine just inside the doors

The FCO Travel Advice for Douz advises against all but essential travel. The advice has been like that for a while.Yesterday we came back from enfida - there was extra security checks the queues were massive you have to have all your luggage, hand luggage, etc through an xray machine just inside the doors
Enfidha's been like that for a while, and typical of changeover days. But a lot of airports are like that.
Hope you'd already bought your Exit Stamps.0
