Hi all,
Im just wondering,, if you were to buy a park home/lodge/call it what you like..would it appear as a property registered on land reg?
I suspect i know the answer but just checking,
My thoughts are that its a caravan which stands on a rented plot and so there is nothing to register on land reg
Its no different to owning a motorhome or a car.

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Your thoughts are correctIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

When you say 'appear' do you mean the physical structure on the title plan or the postal address for example?
We register land which in turn is then defined as property once it is 'built on' so a picnic plot, a house and garden and a park lodge can all be registered but it starts with the land initially.“Official Company Representative

I think C_Mababejive is referring to individual park homes/lodges on mobile or holiday home parks. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Correct,,so the land belongs to someone else and the caravan owner pays a pitch fee and has no tenure in the form of freehold/leasehold.lincroft1710 wrote: »I think C_Mababejive is referring to individual park homes/lodges on mobile or holiday home parks.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Usually the caravan owner will have some security of tenure, albeit for a relatively short period of time.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
