Why are the so hard on me?

I am somewhat confused as if it is a dd it is up to them to collect and not up to you to tell them to do it unless you ment a so which you control but physically have to set up or cancel

No sorry if it isnt clear in my arrangement of 2006 they collected payments DD they had my bank details on record. In 2007 the new arrangement began and I thought that the DD would begin again they had my details and authority to collect this way but they did not. I asked them what was going on and they said there was no DD instruction and it was my responsibility to make my payments.
