It was close to being a NSD. so close. But at the end of the night a whole ton of cat food was put on sale. $11.94 today. I have a day off tomorrow to recover. Might go for a walk. Well, I'm off to do some reading.Debts: ASDA Loan - £6,848.01

We spent $8.47 on Monday for lunch stuff and $36 the same day from my own money on pizza as I made everyone in the house sick. We were paid on Wednesday and $120 into Rent & Grocery,
$150 into Savings, $60 into Yearly Savings $10 into Baby Savings.
Updated signature. I have work soon, and I don't fancy going. Pretty annoyed with my manager atm, I asked for extra hours weeks ago and some have come up this week and she's given them all to her friend she hired. So I'm back onto my bookkeeping course. I put it down ages ago and have been meaning to pick it back up again, I guess I needed a little motivation.
Still, I try not to stay angry with people, but she is a bit of a weirdo. No one wants to work in Seafood because she's really high strung, she can be really petty and snarky with customers and throws things at you to put them away.
Rant over. She's not always so bad, but she's definately one of the more difficult people I've had to work with and every fault seems 100x worse when they're your boss.
Keep plodding anyway, it's never as bad as I think it's going to be when I get in.

Bosses. I have had some shockers too. I remind myself they are not my friend, keep an electronic paper trail to cover my own ar*e as my boss loves to deflect blame onto me for jobs they havn't progressed. I have also involved HR just enough that it makes them behave just a bit better. And I work hard, keep out of politics and I bide my time. Now is not the time for me to change my job, too much else on. But yes motivate yourself. Bookkeeping friends of mine have found it to be very flexible and kept working through their kids so if you are planning a family all to the good. Those that have gone on to work in different ways have found the understanding of the financial bottom line is invaluable. All best.Total debt at 18.9.17 £1950

So I've not been on for a while. Bad me but our savings has improved quite a lot. DH has hours cut back at work as they were sacking a lot of people. It's made it a lot harder for us. I've had to work 5-6 days a week if I manage to get the hours.
Coming back to the UK for a visit early next year, but it's so expensive. My parents might pay for my ticket but we still need spending money and the other ticket.
Got some good news though, I'm pregnant, so that's pretty awesome. We weren't very MSE yesterday and got McDonalds for breakfast after I went to the doctors, and then for lunch after seeing my SIL.

Thanks guys I'm due in May, so I hope everything goes okay. I might have got DH a job at the supermarket, I was asking around for him. So that'll be more hours for him, more flexible and I don't have to work so much. I'm working 5-6 days atm, I had to leave early today and I just slept for 3 hours cause I'm exhausted.
:undecided
I worked two six day weeks in a row, I think it's just catching up with me. I'll keep you guys posted with how much everything's costing me. We're staying with MIL for a while now. Oh well

Updated my signature and I'm off to make some pasta for lunch. I have to take frequent naps now. So hopefully I can cope okay today, although all and all I've been feeling pretty good actually.
We've almost reached a goal, although about half of that will be taken to go to the UK in Jan/Feb as the tickets are expensive, but we'll see how it is.

Sick household this week. I had a nasty bug that DH has picked up as well, and we had to take the kitty to the vet as he was all listless and not eating, turns out he was sick as well. That cost us $110, good thing we have money set aside. I've had to take time off work, so that's no money for next week.
slightly worrying.
DH worked overtime last week to cover someone's holiday and hasn't been paid, it's not come through for three days. They've just sacked bunch of people, so now it's absolute chaos.
Spending the day in bed I think. Just writing this week off really, back to saving and going out next week.
