Citalia terms and conditions

Read the terms and conditions fully before entering the competition to win a cookery lesson at La Cucina Caldesi and a hamper of Italian treats.

1. This prize draw is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over, except employees of Telegraph Media Group Limited and its group companies (“Promoter”), Specialist Holidays (Travel) Limited (trading as “Citalia”) and La Cucina Caldesi Limited, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw. 2. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

3. To enter this prize draw,
entrants must write a top tip in no more than 50 words on travelling to Italy.


Entrants must submit their entry at telegraph.co.uk/citalia and complete the required fields in the online entry form.
Entry is restricted to one per person. Once submitted, entries cannot be amended in any way.

4. All entries submitted must be in English,
be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other competition.
It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that their entry does not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws.

5. Copyright in all entries submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable licence, valid for one year from the date of publication of this prize draw, to Citalia to feature any or all of the submitted entries in any of its publications, its websites, social media and/or in any promotional material connected to this promotion. Entrants will not receive remittance for such publication, though their work will be credited.

6. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries or entries sent through agencies and third parties will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of despatch will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The winner will be drawn at random from all entries received by the closing date. The winner’s name and county can be obtained by sending a sae to Citalia Prize Draw Winner, SPARK, Telegraph Media Group, 111 Buckingham Palace Road, London, SW1W 0DT, within one month after the closing date of the prize draw.
7. All entries must be received by midnight on Friday, July 17, 2015.
8. The winner will be contacted within 14 days of the closing date of the prize draw. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.

9. The prize as described is available on the date of publication.
Should the prize become unavailable,
a substitute of equal value will be provided.

10. One winning entrant will win a Day in Amalfi cookery class for two people with chef Giancarlo Caldesi at La Cucina Caldesi, Marylebone, London.
The day comprises:
• A six-hour cookery class;
• Welcome tea, coffee and biscotti;
• Use of all ingredients and kitchen equipment;
• Lunch on the dishes created; and
• A glass of wine.

11. The prize does not include travel to or from the event,
accommodation, personal expenditure or incidental costs.
12. The prize will be in the form of a Virgin Experience Day voucher and is valid for nine months from the date of the winner being notified.
The event is available on selected dates and should be booked at least eight weeks in advance. The winner’s guest must be over 18 years of age.
The winner should advise of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking.
13. The prize is subject to availability,
non transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
14. The winner may be required to participate in reasonable publicity on behalf of the Promoter and Citalia.
15. Entrants’ data will be used for the purpose of administration of this prize draw and in accordance with the permissions granted or withheld at the point of entry.
16. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and/or Citalia. Accordingly the Promoter and/or Citalia may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter and/or Citalia as a result thereof.
17. The Telegraph is responsible for the first part of the promotion, which is the publication and adjudication of the prize draw. Provision of the prizes is the responsibility of Citalia.
18. These Terms and Conditions are to be interpreted in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of these Terms or their subject matter is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
