Mystery leak in shed roof

This is still puzzling. New felt 2 yrs ago and cannot find anything wrong with the felt and yet there are damp patches on the roof when it rains in different places. As this is doing my head I asked a local handy man to check and he could not find what the problem is. I have the option of refelting at a cost of £90 for a shed 8ft by 6 ft with superfelt. I am a bit concerned if I pay for a new felt roof and the problem persists. Is there anything else I can do. Thanks

How is the felt secured down? Clout nails?
Does it overlap in the correct fashion? With the higher piece on top?
What about the edges of the roof, does the water pour off the end or does it dribble down the side?

Post some phots of if you like

I agree with ESSEX Exile simply fit this http://www.rubber4roofs.co.uk/shed-roofing
It would cost around £66 including the roller and adhesive for your size shed but it will never leak again its simple to fit..I have done it on one my larger sheds full instructions on the web site..

You never need to mess about with felt again and it will see out the life of your shed

    Fit and forget job done

My shed has been without felt in parts for over a year so very damp, would this rubber roof be ok to use on an old shed that's very damp, or do I need a new shed?

As long as the roof is sound and you remove any sharp splinters and nails it will be ok..after a dry spell of a few days when the roof has dried out..That is IF we get a number of days without rain this summer

The adhesive needs a dry sound surface to adhere to so if your roof deck is breaking up or is too sodden it wont

I laid OSB over the old felt & stuck the rubber to that.

Thanks I have a feeling it is too wet, will see how it dries out during the summer months (hopefully) and then look into getting it done.
