Restriction on vehicles entering a pedestrian zone

Hello Friends
I have just received a fine of £65 (if paid within 14 days) from some council in London. Apparently I have failed to comply with a restriction that was placed on vehicles entering a pedestrian zone.
This happened on a recent visit to London with the wife. It was night time (21:14) and I was simply following the TomTom directions.
I did not notice any signs whilst driving through there and of course the TomTom Live services had no clue to the above restriction.
Is there anything I can do? Or must I accept my fate and pay it

Pepipoo is the best place for advice on 'proper' fines.0

Just because your sat-nav says to make a turn, it doesn't mean you should do. Road signs and good ol' fashioned looking must take priority. I've often had mine tell me to go through a no entry, make an illegal turn or turn into what is obviously just a farm track. Needless to say I didn't do what it suggested.
Given that, who's to say the signage was adequate, or that there's something else wrong with the ticket? As stated, Pepipoo's the place to go where the experts will pick it apart.0 -
What is the exact location of the alleged offence?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
