Morning, thankfully a slower one than yesterday. OH is bowling this afternoon, so I have some time to myself. What I am going to actually do remains to be seen.

I am trying to sort out removers and also move cash around to pay for stuff.........its driving me nuts. OH is also stressing about the keys, we need them so we can get the carpet fitters in to lay the carpet when we decide who is getting the job.

I have put out a plea for clematis cuttings, I am looking for Montana Rubens and Montana Elizabeth. I want to train them along the unsightly front fence. We will see.

    OH bowling this afternoon.

We have had 3 quotes back, just waiting for the forth estimator on Monday and then we will see who is going to be lucky. The outreach worker has said she will meet us at the bungalow on Thursday, but no idea of time etc.....or what we have to take with us for ID. The fact that the council have already had reams of the stuff does not seem to matter. Hey ho.

Jackie I hope you are recovering from you op and will soon be out shopping for pretty undies. I can see where you are coming from. I am whats known as well endowed, getting attractive bras is more or less impossible. For years I wore French Collection by Warners. They stopped making them and since then its been very difficult to get anything that does not look like a whalebone corset!!

Another NCIS fan here, often watch the old series on other channels as well as the new season. I think there is something special about Gibbs, maybe the twinkle in his eye :)

Glad to hear Jackie O op went well.

Too be truthful not a very productive morning, I overdid the wine last night which resulted in me waking up at 4 and then dozing and falling back to sleep at 6 until 9

I have been shopping and done a load of washing now on the line, hope the rain stays away.

DH on nights this weekend so currently snoring away upstairs, need to do some ironing tonight and catch up on some of my programs I have recorded.

    Have a good day all

    Afternoon all

The bedding is drying nicely on the whirly. Popped over to Lidlee to get some bits and pieces earlier and bought a geranium and tins of tomatoes in HB next door..

We had a nice lunch in the garden making the most of the sunshine. Mr Gintot has gone to the garden centre to get some runner bean plants as we just have room in the raised bed by the green house.
    I am having a cuppa.
Dinner tonight is the posh sausages that DH fancied from M&S. Quite handy as DS still at home is unexpectedly in for a meal.

Hope you are recovering well Jackie O and hugs and spoons for all those who would like them.

    Have a good evening all.

  • Good Afternoon evryone, we've had the loveliest day today. DD,DSIL, ZEBRA and myself went to a local arboreatum and had a walk through the trees and flower beds, so nice and they had a mini food fair so we had lunch there too. Came home and spent the rest of the afternoon in the garden He Who Knows went out and vacuumed ours and DDs car, Zebra and I have been playing wheelbarrow rides up and down the garden and then he discovered out ancient lounger and played vrawling along it from end to end for ages. Is now having very messy spaghetti bolognese for tea, had pudding first as we went up and picked the very first ripe strawberries from the garden, his little face when he was eating them, bliss, so happy, really lovely! DSIL watching the FA Cup and we're going to have Basque Chicken for supper. They will settle Zebra and then go to the pub with He Who Knows forst, then homefor supper, lovely!!!

    Evening all,

Bank holiday weekend here, DD4, DSILtobe and I are meant to be going to Bloom ( our Chelsea) on Monday, not sure that she is able for much walking, so we have agreed to go early and leave early if it is not raining....we'll see, she really should be resting.

Glad to hear that JackieO is over her op....next few days tough, but nothing to a positive lady like Jackie!

A little warmer here today than yesterday, we were naughty and went to garden centre for lunch, so main meal sorted, lots of stuff in fridge for snack later on.

Such a busy time for you Csarina, take it as easy as you can, it will all happen.

Lyn....glad that you are having such alovely weekend.

    Enjoy your weekend everybody
