Problem with Wickes kitchen measurements

I purchased a Wickes kitchen around 10 months ago. I left if a few months before having it delivered as the house wasn't ready due to the builder continuously letting me down. Anyway, the kitchen has been delivered but is still untouched and in it's boxes. I have a design map with measurements which the Wicker rep drew and also a kind of 3D pic of the kitchen once it's assembled. The problem is is that it includes a breakfast island which is mean to fit across the width of the room but in order to pass each side of it, you would have to turn your body sideways in order to be able to do so. I'm certainly not fat and I would have to do this. The Wickes rep has made an error in her measurements. Am I entitled to get them to rectify this? I have been told that this type of kitchen has been discontinued by them. Anybody have any idea as to what I should do? I'm also a little concerned about other measurements if something as basic as the breakfast island is wasy too long. :-(

erm.... one less unit used on the breakfast bar should do it!

If it is a laminate breakfast bar it can be cut down to fit anyway.

Do you have a dimensioned plan. If not the designer will be able to provide you with one. She should also be able to come and check measure for you and make sure it fits. It sounds like you are looking at a 2m length of breakfast bar, which is probably meant to be cut down in the design.

I would think very few kitchens get fitted as planned - lots of variables... adjust accordingly..
