Can I take equipment home

Hi all

I applied for acsess to work and currently in process of getting it, today I got an email to indicate what il be getting funding for.

I will be getting a roger pen, a shoe device to clip to hearing aid and another one to clip to that so I can use the roger pen. The pen isn't a pen it is a device so I can hear people talk direct to my hearing aid,

Now as its atw funded would I need to keep the equipment in the work place or can I take it to and from work?

I need to keep my things at work, my employer made a fairly big contribution to it.

If this was provided and funded so that you could continue to carry on working, and assuming that you don't work from home, why would you think that it can be used for purposes other than what it was funded for?

The equipment belongs to the employer.

As such, if the employer agrees to allow you to take it home then that is perfectly OK.

It will be a roger pen and also small attachments to my hearing aid, these can get lost in the workplace plus cleaners might mistake the roger pen for an actual pen and throw it away. Also it needs charging everyday so on weekends and evenings it might be safer to charge it at home as il have control of it.
