Credit File - totally incorrect or I'm just confused??

Hi there

I'm sorry if this has already been discussed lots of times - hubby and I still don't understand what we are looking at on his credit file.

he went bankrupt Oct 2010, so discharged
Oct 2011. Credit file shows zero credit which I though was great.
"Active accounts balance
Accounts Total Balance
Non-revolving accounts (e.g. Loans/hire purchases) £0
Revolving accounts (e.g. Credit/store cards) £0
All accounts £0"

However, we have been advised that his mortgage application has been declined , not because of bankruptcy, but because of current adverse credit?? he/we have no credit cards, loans or any debt anywhere. So on closer inspection of his credit file, I can see that actually most of his debt which was written off in bankruptcy, still seems to be kicking about!
For example:

Account: MBNA LTD
Name: MR :::::::::
Date of Birth: :::::::::
Address: ::::::::::
Updated: 03/05/2015
Current Status: Default
Type: Credit Card
Balance: £7,114
Entry number: C17
Account Started: 25/04/2008
Default Details
Default Date: 15/07/2010
Default Balance: £6794
Account Status Details (1–12 months):
▼ Last updated: 03/05/2015
Status 8
Balance (£) 7114

Same with Mint:
Account: MINT
Updated: 03/05/2015
Current Status: Default
Type: Credit Card
Balance: £1,951
Entry number: C16
Account Started: 05/05/2004
Default Date: 17/06/2010
Default Balance: £1951
▼ Last updated: 03/05/2015
Status 8
Balance (£) 1951

and so on and so on! what does this mean? showing they all be showing as zero and satisfied/partially satisfied? The only two that do, is a credit card account and Chelsea Building Society. Santander are showing as Gone Away!
Its the dates which is really getting me -may 2015??

Any help please gratefully appreciated. Urgently need to fix this so we can get back on track for mortgage.

Thanks

    Info to correct them here --> Credit Reference File Clean Up Post Bankruptcy

    In this case default dates are OK so you can leave out the parts on that, and concentrate on getting them marked as satisfied or partially satisfied.

    Thanks fermi, I will get straight onto that.

    Any ideas on this part (the start date in astericks below)

    Could this be what is showing as current adverse credit? I'm utterly at a loss to see what is current.

    Thanks again.

    Those start dates apply to the gone away or partial settlement markers. Whether that is what is being mistakenly picked up, it's hard to say.

    Partial settlement date must be no later than your discharge date, so that can be disputed if you feel the need.

    For TTI see here and the following posts --> https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/68280021#Comment_68280021

    For Santander, if the gone away marker is not the truth, then you can dispute that as well.
