UK Parking Control / Small Claims Solicitors....

Options
Hi I'm new here.

I have a question regarding parking ticket I received a looong time ago....

Ok, so basically I parked in a disabled bay at a car park managed by UK Parking Control. I have had the standard many many letters come through asking me to pay the full amount, then asking me to pay a reduced amount etc etc. They then passed this debt onto there good friends over at D.R.P. (Debt Recovery Plus) who have done the same, sent me numerous letter asking the same.

BUT..

I have now just received a letter from a company called S.C.S. (Small Claims Solicitors). Now, this is the first I seen these guys, so I'm assuming it is simply another tactic for these cowboys to try and scare me in to paying the 'fine'.

My plan is to simply ignore this, as I have been doing so far. But, my concern is that I parked in a disabled bay, which could be why they might be looking at giving this a run through the courts.

In the letter, the company says the same old !!!!!!!! about being able to pay the 'fine' or it COULD go to court.

Anyone ells had dealings with these people? And should I prep myself for court? :D

Thanks in advance

Windscreen ticket or ANPR with notice via post?

Just HOW LONG AGO? Exact date of ticket needed.

    And where? England or Scotland?

    Did you appeal at all?

Wouldn't bother buying your wig and gown yet ;)

Search the Forum function - search posts using SCS as the search term and you will see SCS is as much a solicitors as DR+ are.

Clue which you've spotted are in the words COULD

Just as I thought. Thanks for the reasurance guys!

The ticket was put on my windscreen (In the UK) and the date of 'offence' was April 2014.

I'll just stick to what I've been doing and ignoring the sons of switches.

Have a great weekend you lot :-)
