Can you use the same card again?

Hello,

This might be a silly question but are you able to apply for a balance transfer to a card company you have used in the past? I.e I had a virgin credit card a couple of years ago and I balanced transferred to another card then shut Virgin card down. can I apply for a virgin card today?

Thanks

You can but some special introductory offers, eg 0% APR transfers, may require a certain gap or such before you are eligible for them even if you can have a new card. The T&Cs on the card info or application page will confirm.
