I'm still getting the occasional threatogram from them. Last one was from Pat Crossley at Expedion for a ticket in Spitalfields Manchester in 2013. Legally unloading, sign has "except loading" but still chasing, bless 'em. Sent a a picture of a completely differnt sign as evidence of the "alleged offence" along with the usual mock court papers.

    parking or trespass?

    I give up.

Well done on getting ANPR Ltd. kicked out of Preston Council's car parks but your torrent of half-baked "advice" is making this forum (and PePiPoo) unusable.

I for one am fed up with having to spend all my time correcting your dangerous "advice" instead of helping people and I have better things to do, so goodbye.

I asked parking or trespass for a reason ,

uncle trev is on very sticky grounds bringing a trespass charge , as the chances are he does not own the land

if you feel that , and it is a general opinion , as well as yours then I will retire from posting any further comments on this forum , and go back to the knitting forum!

    I say, Well done Freddy!

Anyone who puts in that amount of effort single-handedly to give em some of their own back deserves a medal and more.

Good to see Trev receive what he deserves, on the downside will the council bring a more litigious PPC in from just down the road?

Freddie the locals may be cheering you today and cursing you in the future!

Lets hope they take them back in house and run them, themselves.

The best thing the council can now do is to sit back and to actually monitor the car parking activities/usage before deciding whether or not there is an actual need to engage another parasite on their behalf. Who knows, they may well find that their car parking world doesn't end after all.

the majority of there car parks are in areas out of the town centre , main roads with shops , the only people that would park there all day are the shop owners and staff, Preston counsil already issue permits for them to park all day.

"trev" gain was finding people that had not parked "absolutely" square in a bay. the council have several wardens on mopeds (actually decent blokes!) and it would not be hard to add a quick sweep of the off street parking to there routes.

I don,t think , even at xmas that I have ever seen at least 3 of the car parks actually full to the brim.

this is the signage the last time I looked

if you read the other post , OP asking for help , he actually parked at about 10pm , and trev pounced!

evidently on a near empty car park they were busy checking for anyone who,s tyre was touching a line!

Wow, that is an old sign; Preston became a city in 2002!
