Halifax Credit Card PPI

Hi. Bit of an odd one this. I put in a PPI complaint with Halifax on a credit card I have had for 15 years. I received the acknowledgement letter, a few weeks past and then I received £11.5k into my bank account with a ref starting PPI. I have had no letters from them. Usually I would expect a letter containing and acceptance form but all I got was the cash. Now, I always welcome hard cash but without paperwork, I am concerned they are going to ask for it back. Any thoughts?

Letters get lost in the post or get sent out a week late second class
Just ring the Halifax and ask them, don't waste time on a forum when you can get an immediate answer from the bankSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

With faster payments, you can often find the money hits the bank before the letter arrives.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The payment should be delayed until the FRL is due to arrive.
Just call them and ask for another copy.
There is no acceptance letter, just the FRL.0
