It might just be on the script, I have no proof that there actually was any, but if there was, I'd think it a good reason not to do it again. I've opened some dialog on a 3mobile blog page now, so we'll see what happens. Took more than a minute to open this "reply" page, and half the icons down the right hand side have timed out.0 -
NiftyDigits, your link doesn't seem to be working for me. Is it the Huawei E5573? I've looked on Amazon but they seem quite expensive, though there are cheaper models.0

What I would do is get a unlocked mifi like this one its the SIM FREE / UNLOCKED Huawei E5330 speeds upto 21mb which is what I have.

And get pay as you go data sims for all networks (normally free or £1) and test which one has the best signal then think about a "contract" data sim.
And you can use speedtest to test the speed.

Link works perfectly. Buy only from my link and follow my guide in order to give notice.
You can go to the Carphone Warehouse website > Tablets > Mobile Broadband > Pay Monthly > Huawei 4G Mi-Fi On EE 4G 15GB £20, 30 day
Ignore woody2234's post. All of it. He's clearly lost the plot.0 -
Is there any particular Mifi device that is easiest to set up and is more 'idiot proof' than the rest?
I've got this one, and it was the simplest thing in the world to set up.

I inserted my 3 SIM, switched it on (hold the button on the right down for a few seconds, then let go, and wait for four green lights), then I found it on my network list, entered the WIFI KEY (printed inside the device, so write it down when you fit the SIM) and I was online.

I know that certain posters are trying to be helpful.... but they are linking you to inferior modems that you could buy for less anyway.
Just get the one in my link and give your 30 day notice, as suggested.0 -

The E5330 does not have an external antenna connection.
The similar E5332 does. Not that I'm recommending that in particular.
In respect of external antennas, note that there are different connectors, so make sure to buy items that will match.0
