travelex at the airport

For my last two trips overseas, I have secured a currency rate via the Travelex website and picked the cash at the airport on departure date. On both occasions I was advised that i could exchange more money at the rate which I recieved when booking online.
Does anyone know if this would happen everytime or is it just something they accommodate as and when they are able ?
I am asking this as I have already secured £500 worth of Egyptian currency for a trip within the next few days and I now wish to take more money, but the advertised exchange rate is now lower

They're likely to offer, but it's not guaranteed. It depends on the amount of that currency they have in stock.0

i second that as am employed by them , they will sell you as much as you want / they got"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0

Thanks both of you for your replies. As my flight is early morning, they should have enough EGP's to offer me more.

I suspect that you will get an even better rate once you are in Egypt (perhaps from an ATM) so check it out before you leave for the airport.0

You will get about 10% more from an Egyptian atm. I take the bare minimum and always get my money locally now. Travelex are crap. On £500 that's another £50 in local currency.0
