We already reported to the police, but they will only investigate if a certain number of people had been scammed and make an official complain.
So people lets try to register with:

So we can see something done!0 -
Haven't had any luck in recovering my money, don't expect to now. Alerted Santander Bank (where Windsor Audio Visual) had the account and updated the police report, but don't know what if anything they'll do.
We all just need to keep vigil of this scam, obviously an ongoing one resurfacing under a new name, same/similar web design, a new bank account and payment by BACS only, possibly every month or so and then report to the bank where the account is held (just place a false order but not pay to get their bank details) and alert the police, so that sooner or later these people are arrested.
Hopefully then we might recover our losses. It's a hope only now, but in the meantime we can at least try and stop them scamming more innocent consumers.
Keep Googling to see what new name they surface again. I would suggest you phone an order and request collection of it from the 'nearby' warehouse and payment in cash. It is inevitable that would not be accepted (as it is a false address) and that should be enough to suggest you walk away from the deal.0 -
This type of scam is repeated thousands of times every day all around the world. The simplest way to avoid it is to NOT pay by any method where you have no protection (i.e. bank transfer!).
After all, you wouldn't hand hundreds of pounds to a man in the street and watch him walk off saying he'll be back in 10 minutes with your new TV would you!0 -
When somethings seems wrong with a tv price ,like its alot cheaper than anywhere else alarm bells ring..
I mannaged to talk to someone at planet hd .a female and when i asked about the tv's and prices and where they came from she hung up saying the sales staff are not in. So I called the nearest shop next to the supposed address..guess what they had never heard of planet HD
Do not buy from this site it is a scam.0 -
My partner was scammed for over £1000 from planet HD. Luckily last week he received all the money back and was informed that the person responsible is facing criminal action.:beer:0

This is part of a fairly large scam across many company names:
