Q for Lloyds Bank Rep and any MSE members that opened a new Club Lloyds Monthly Saver

Today, I happened to notice on the new Club Lloyds Monthly Saver (opened earlier this month), a 'View Renewal Options' tab, so being curious, clicked same. This took me to a 'Savings Re-designation - Compare Products page', which began:
which then listed my new Club Lloyds Monthly Saver account, with, for some reason :
and then gave a table of alternative accounts available, all above 0% interest.
Has this happened to anyone else who already opened a new 12 month Club Lloyds Saver after their original one changed to an Easy Saver?
Lloyds rep - why would my new Club Lloyds Monthly Saver be:
a) showing 0% interest
and
b) have an option to 'renew', when it is less than a month old and should be earning more interest anyhow than the alternatives?
(ps just for clarity, I can confirm the new Monthly account was allocated a different number from the previous Monthly account, as that number is now associated with the Easy Saver.)
Hi butterflymum,
Apologies for the delay in our response. In regard to the page displaying the interest rates, can you clarify whether this is visible only while you're logged onto Internet banking, or via one of the public pages on the site?
Thanks,

Visible when logged on. As said, out of curiosity I clicked the 'view renewal options' tab under my new Club Lloyds Monthly Saver account. Obviously, it wasn't ideal being met with the next page stating that there was 0% interest applying to this account and offering me higher paying alternatives. As others have discovered same, I trust it is a system blip that will be rectified as soon as possible?butterfly )i(0

Thank you for the info, butterflymum. I'd like to ask our Internet Banking team to have a look at this; would it be possible to provide a screenshot of the page on which this info is displayed & send it to the address provided in our profile? Please ensure you include your MSE username within the email's subject line.
Thanks
Graeme

I've sent a PDF of the page displaying an interest rate of 0% for my Monthly Saver and I'm still on my first Monthly Saver (so it's not something relating to renewing a Monthly Saver account).
Could I also ask for a definitive statement on interest payable when/if the balance exceeds £4,800 in the final month?0 -

Graeme,
Could you also clarify what, if any, interest is paid on balances above £4,800 for those of us who've ended up paying the standing order thirteen times?
Thanks.0 -
