Parking ticket challenge???

Options
Hi,

I got a parking ticket today and I'm not sure what the law is, so here I am, asking for help. Contravention: 27 - Parked in a special enforcement area adjacent to a footway, cycle track or verge lowered to meet the level of the carriageway.
If the back tyres are parked properly on the higher kerb but the back of the car (not tyres) is about 10cm on the lowered kerb, can I challenge and possibly win the appeal? I always thought that if the back tyres are NOT on the lowered part of the kerb then I'm ok and within my rights.

Can you help, please?

Thank you
