New generation parking management ticket

Hey guys need a little help, on the 10-02-15 I had a ticket for over stay in a retail car park. I took the advice to ignore, however after having a few letters 'final reminder' from new parking management I have had now a letter from ZZPZ stating that if I do not pay they will go further etc?
What should I do?
I must note that i was parked on a match day, not watching the football but only recently found out that the parking time reduces to 90 mins on a match day when the normal time I 3 hours which I was well under. Any help would be great

just read the NEWBIES sticky thread
for england and wales, ignore was the wrong policy
appeal was the correct course of action
as post #4 says, ignore the debt collectors
you could try a parking company appeal, but they will likely turn you down, due to the time factor
in which case you can expect debt collector letters for 6 years
come back if you ever receive an LBCCC or MCOL from the parking company (not from debt colelctors, who are powerless)0 -
There is in fact a casino in the same car park which I am a member of, would it be too late or too risky to give the ticket to them because they state there is free parking? Or carry on and just ignore the letter?0

It's worth a try with the Casino. Nothing to lose0

Just thought about the casino, if for some reason they won't pay it and the other company find out won't they try and pursue me more if they know I was in contact with the casino?0

dont give the ticket to anyone, not unless you photocopy it first, but if you get a landowner cancellation, thats the best way to sort this out
the debt collectors are employed to find out info about you, so assume they already know the details, except unless you tell them they DO NOT KNOW the name of the driver
the debt collectors will pursue you regardless (for 6 years), unless you get it cancelled0 -
others on here have been done at the same retail park, and won at popla using the definition of 'match day' on the signs being too vague and ambiguous, so shame you decided to ignore as would have been an easy win I reckon!!0
