hiyas, were living in a small starter home, 2 bedrooms and are wanting something bigger, 3 bedrooms kitchen diner etc.
weve been wondering about extending our house as we love it here and have a large garden so have the space
the problem is we havent a clue where to start!! buider? architet? and what would we be asked to pay just to get some ideas, quotes realistic plans etc
please help quickly as we have just put our house up for sale so need to weigh up the pros and cons!!!

Start by walking the streets and alleyways of your neighbourhood and seeing what other people have done. Then you want an architect or architectural technician to advise you of what can be done and guide you through the planning process. A good builder should be more than able to manage the construction of the extension. Your architect may disagree with this and offer to manage it for you. I can't think why........0
