Apologies if there is advice on this but I couldn't find it after seaching through the Newbie thread:
My wife received a parking ticket from UKPC back in Feb this year and using the guidance in thh Newbie thread, a first appeal letter was sent to them on 4 March (letter dated 3 March) - it wasn't sent by registered post however I do have a proof of postage receipt from the Post Office.
No further correspondence was received from them until this week when we have received a letter from a debt collector demanding £160 (original fine was £100) by 3 June.
Is there any advice on how best to deal with this?

Complain to the BPA that UKPC have ignored your appeal (send them copies of the appeal and of the proof of postage). Insist that the BPA make UKPC uphold your appeal or send you a POPLA code.0

Thanks for this - will do.
Presumably I don't offer an response to the debt chasing company - either within their deadline or otherwise - in the meantime?0 -

correct, ignore the debt collectors (read post #4 of the newbies thread)
I think post #6 gives the BPA details, include copies of all paperwork and proof of postage etc0 -
Correct. Ignore the debt chasers permanently and only deal with the BPA or UKPC directly.0
