Try Zoopla which may give some idea. Also try Property Bee.

    Go here http://www.home.co.uk/#tab-prices-and-rents

Double check you are on prices and rents tab

Type in the first half of postcode

    Search

Click current asking prices and time on market link

It's the best you can do other than researching every property sold on your estate by googling addresses, you may find the sample size is too small to draw any reasonable conclusions from anything you manage to find.
When using the housing forum please use the sticky threads for valuable information.

Without sounding smug, I know the prices in the area because I've been researching it for months if not years, mainly when looking for a new house. I suppose it depends if you want to live in the same area or not - if you want to move away you probably don't bother looking nearby!

I've got about 20 houses on Rightmove bookmarked that have sold and just compare the time on market with the sold price data from Land Registry and went from there.

Also get Property Bee if you aren't using it already.
