What is time limit between appealing to POPLA and date of hearing?

I've now been emailed the 'evidence pack' but am really confused!
Although their first page quotes the correct POPLA code, the car registration number is not correct! Also, it mentioned that the main reason for my appeal is due to a permit falling off the dashboard, which is absolutely not part of my appeal! There was never any mention of a permit in any previous paperwork!
Also, my name is spelt incorrectly all the way through.
I will put together a response to refute their 'evidence' but, what about the permit that they refer to?
They are also quoting the Beavis case "The Court of Appeal unanimously dismissed the challenge stating the Parking Charge Notice amount of £85 "is not extravagant or unconscionable"
Finally, they have provided a copy of the contract between the landowner (Sainsburys) and the parking company, however, the only section relating to ticketing an 'overstay' quotes as the following:
"Overstaying the parking time limit for repeat offences, from the second occurrence onwards, when parking within a time allowed restricted car park" Can I use this??"Hope for the Best

Just add in your rebuttal that the lack of care and attention to their evidence pack is symptomatic of their whole approach. If they can't specify the correct vehicle or appellant then their evidence cannot be relied on at all.
See post #3 in the NEWBIES thread ... there's some wording (in blue) to add to POPLA appeals in respect of Beavis. If this wan't in your appeal, put it in your rebuttal.0 -
And the decision will be adjourned until November unless POPLA immediately spot something obvious to find in your favour over:

No cases are lost at the moment when well argued. They are either won on omissions in evidence (hence the rebuttal) or they are parked (literally) until November.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Absolutely. This should be brought to the attention of the assessor.Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -
I sent an immediate rebuttal of the EP to POPLA, also detailing the obvious errors.
I have now been sent another EP which has the correct information.
Do I need to send another rebuttal, or will POPLA just use the original one I sent?"Hope for the Best

send another one, if there are any extras or difference to add

Make it clear to POPLA, that if the PPC can't get the basic details correct in their EP, and they they need to rehash it because you've had to point out their errors to them, how can any credibility be given to any of the stuff they are claiming?
How many goes do they want !!!!!!!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

firstly, you should report the PPC for sending that debt letter whilst a popla appeal is ongoing, its a breach of the BPA CoP
dont let them get away with it , report it
Further to that I have had today a letter from ZZPS debt collection now jokingly asking for £160. It is still under POPLA appeal.
Time for a THIRD complaint to BPA about this single PCN.0 -

agreed, complain to the BPA every time a debt collector chases you as it should be "on hold" pending the popla outcome, which could be near xmas if they "stayed" it for the Beavis case , so 3 will turn into 330
