Basic bank account and credit rating.

Does having just a basic bank account (co-op cashminder) affect your credit rating? Is it worth trying to get an upgraded account as i don't need an overdraft, extras, etc.
I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.

No they just show as a current account without an overdraft.Still rolling rolling rolling......
