Barclaycard bought Marbles years back and converted all existing Marbles customers over to Barclaycard... Then they sold the brand to NewDay. .. Good business strategy. NewDay are on a right spending spree lately, although don't think they need any more sub prime brands though!

Yeah, but if it's anything like their banking arm.. They run on totally different systems.

Halifax and BoS are on one and Lloyds runs on a separate system, same as TSB

I don't think Marbles ever went away.:)

Marbles was invented by HFC in 1999
HSBC bought HFC in 2003
HSBC sold Marbles to SAV in 2007
SAV changed its name to Newday in 2014
