    even so, post #4 of the NEWBIES sticky thread deals with debt collectors, which is IGNORE them completely

    sometimes doing nothing is the best policy, so IGNORE debt collectors is the first rule of thumb with these things, as they cannot initiate court action

    so read the NEWBIES sticky thread, post #4

    POFA started 1st October 2012, so ANY date in October 2012 is subject to POFA.

    A couple of things:

    Did you change address shortly before Oct 2012, or was there an incorrect address logged at the DVLA for that vehicle?

    If they are citing breach of contract, then any appeal/rebuttal should include 'frustration of contract' and include a copy of the RAC receipt as evidence.
