Does anyone know when Lloyds first started applying PPI to credit cards? I've just received a settlement from them and they say they have gone back to 1987. I think I probably had my card 10 years before this. What's the earliest I might have been paying PPI?

    That's about it. I had a credit card with Lloyds in 1986 and didn't have ppi on it, but was offered to have ppi on it in 1987.

    OK thanks. Is it about the same time for loans and mortgages with them too?
