How many trips does an annual multi trip cover?

I've been checking out Flexicover direct travel insurance through moneysupermarket but i can find details of how many times you can travel and how long for, or does the policy cover you for traveling for 365 days a year? Please help

Can't speak for the one you've found on moneysupermarket but one I've held for a good number of years has no limit at all on the number of trips BUT each trip is limited to a maximum of 30 days.
If you travel for longer than that without returning to the UK you have to inform the insurer though as I've never done it, I don't know whether they charge extra.
I think the clue is in the name in that they cover multi holiday trips rather long term/permanent travel.
Suggest you check with the insurer, though given the number of long "backpacker" type trips people take these days there must be insurances out there that cater for it.
  • I took out flexicover through moneysupermarket and this is what it says about the cover
    ANNUAL MULTI-TRIP POLICY
The Period of Insurance is for 12 months during which You are covered for each Trip You book and undertake
within that Period, on condition that:
    • For each Insured Person aged up to and including 65 years, the maximum duration of any one Trip shall not
    exceed 50 days.
    • Winter Sports cover is automatically included up to 17 days cover during the Period of Insurance.
    • Irrespective of the number of individual Trips You undertake in each Period of Insurance, the maximum
number of days abroad must not exceed 183 days.
  • Thank you very much for your help 'Ian W' and 'siamese0109'
