IN quite a few previous cases it has been demonstrated that Staples don't have any legal standing. May be the case here too.Je Suis Cecil.0

Thank you for all the advice here. Wow. A lot to take in.
In the first instance I have just email'd Staples customer service explaining the circumstances and to request that they cancel the fine as I am a long standing happy and loyal customer. I have also email'd the site owners PPH Commercial requesting cancellation as I was a happy shopper and also that the signage was way too high and too small to read unless you go stand right underneath it and get a crick in your neck looking upward.
Hoping for a positive response from them.....0 -
Hope you didnt refer to it as a fine when dealing with them,. as thins can make it harder for you. From the Plain Language Commission:

I got a quick response from Dale - Staples customer service team. He will approach UK CPS on my behalf and ask them to consider cancellation of the parking notice. Says he cannot guarantee they will, but he will try.
Hoping that the nicey nicely approach pays off here0 -
ok , great , now if they refuse somehow get "dale" to putt that in writing , because as a staples "employee" UK CPS should do what they are told to do , if they fail , and continue there case , they are on a loosing battle as the owners (staples) do not wish to take court action against you0

It is an old post but what was the outcome of this ticket? I have same issues on the same car park.

Try sending a PM to the OP - they were present on the forum last week, they will get an email to let them know you're trying to get in touch.
You might just ask them why, after so much free advice from forum members, they haven't had the decency to tell us the outcome.:cool:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
