Hire Car Insurance Options

I know you from Martin's Money Tips that you can get buy collision damage waiver (CDW) policies, Can anyone advise typically what state/local surcharges, state/local taxes or Airport user fee apply for Miami Florida?
Wanting to finds out how cost effective it would be to arrange my own policy to top up the basic insurance included with the car hire, compared to taking their fully inclusive option, which is around £250 more.

What exchange rate are you assuming for this trip/comparison ?

  • The current exchange rate would do. Just really wanting find out percentage rate for state/local surcharges & state/local taxes, along want the Airport user fee would be either $ or % rate.
