Fuming at ferrysavers.co.uk! I need to change the car details on a ferry crossing - They tried to charge me £25, but after shouting at 'assistant' and then at her manager, she offered to do it for me for £10!
£10! To do what!? - "Change the ticket" - "What ticket?" I asked - they only issue you with an email confirmation there is no physical ticket so its not as if they need to reprint it.
What do I do now? I've tried ringing Sea France who've said i'll have to deal with ferrysavers.
I think i'll try to force Sea France to change it by saying "ferrysavers told me i had to do it with you"
otherwise could i turn up at Dover on the day and cause a scene there?

BBB has chosen to post this in the Travel section, as well as here, so I am just going to paste my reply:
Can you not read?
Quote:
Ferrysavers.com will charge a minimum fee of £25/€40 per booking for all amendments or cancellations prior to departure in addition to any charges by the ferry operator.
Is it polite to shout at people, for something that is your own fault?

I think you should learn to read the terms and conditions when entering into a contract, and get some manners.Gone ... or have I?0 -

Throwing around personal insults? Is that the best reply you can come up with? We were looking for grown up discussion, not dummies being thrown out of prams!Gone ... or have I?0

IT'S NOT NICE TO SHOUT AT PEOPLE0 -
You still have not answered the points raised BigBouncyBall?
Why do you think that the terms and conditions do not apply to you?
Why do you feel you have the right to shout at the customer service staff?Gone ... or have I?0 -
You're lucky they decided to offer it to you for £10, and not the £25 that they should of.
I can see absolutely no problem with ferrysavers charging £25 for a change in details. Ok, its a lot of money to me, but its what you both agreed to.
Turning up at the terminal may result in you getting on the ferry, or may result getting you arrested if you cause a scene there. Nothing like a disruptive passenger at any terminal now to get security and the police worried. Either way, you'd be faced with the same problems on the way back.0 -
Why dont you just get the details changed for £10, its less tahn the £25, swallow your pride and accept it,No Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

no need - i've had it changed for free.
